About Us

Torbay Easter Hockey Festival celebrated it's 70th Anniversary in 2022. We welcome hockey players both old and new to join together in this splendid scenic location to make this a very memorable event for everyone. We look forward to teams who have been the stalwarts of the festival once more returning this year to battle against old rivals. We welcome new teams whom we hope will challenge the old and engage their opposition with skill and determination. Our focus has always been on excellent competitive hockey played with true sportsmanship. All games are played on Astro pitches with all facilities.

There are two trophies to be won: The Bill Stickells Cup for the most goals scored and our Fair Play Award The Redcliffe Cup offering challenges for all teams.

Come and join us in 2024 and compete in this friendly Festival of hockey against Club sides from all over the UK played in one of the most beautiful parts of Great Britain, the English Riveria.

Take this great opportunity to:

  • Join us in a fun, fast, furious festival of Men's Hockey

  • Play 6/7 games of excellent competitive hockey in 4 days (all on astro!)

  • Enjoy meeting and mixing at Festival Headquarters with teams from around the UK

  • Social events include a warm welcome at Festival HQ at all times

Festival Get-Together on Friday Night at 8pm in the Festival Bar - bring your team, mascots and mates!  ALL WELCOME.

The Festival runs throughout the Easter holiday with fixtures arranged against both local and touring sides.

Each team plays up to 7 games over the 4 days on excellent astro-turf pitches situated in and around Torbay.

We encourage teams to bring their families as the location is ideal for a combined family/sporting holiday. Teams can enjoy their own entertainment as well as visiting the Festival Headquarters, the social centre of the Festival, situated right on the sea front.

The Festival Committee encourages Club sides of a good standard as well as teams of mixed abilities with the emphasis being on hockey played in true Festival spirit.

To register your team please contact: James Carter ( see Contacts page ) or fill in the registration form on our website.
